Business Development Manager/Territory Sales Professional



​Do you have a background in technical sales – specifically in the North American interconnection market/custom cable market?
 
If so, we have a rare opportunity for you to work from your home office in the beautiful warmer weather of the Southeast!
 
Excellent base salary plus commission and benefits without the hassle of a daily commute!
 
The Details:
  • $80-100k base salary (DOE)
  • $120-140k potential at plan
  • Excellent benefits package
  • 40-60% travel

LEONI Elocab Ltd. is the leading custom cable manufacture in North America, specializing in composite round and hybrid cable, High Performance Flex (HPF) and cable assembly systems.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Grow customer base by winning new projects and clients is the key responsibility
  • Meet established sales objectives in the region together with local/global LEONI teams
  • Identify and realize market potentials in the industrial, semiconductor, and medical OEM market segments
  • Oversee pricing strategies and margin management across dedicated account base/product lines
  • Work closely with the customer service team and the engineering team in various manufacturing locations of LEONI to ensure efficient processing of RFQs, prototype or serial production runs, quality audits, etc.
  • Consolidate market trends on a product/technology level and provide input to a cohesive product development strategy; actively influence product development direction within LEONI engineering
  • Actively participate in sales meetings and enhance LEONI’s team of Business Development Managers with industry expertise and sales techniques
  • Maintain close coordination with Regional Manager as well as European counterparts on progress with certain key accounts within territory, facilitating decision-making within production entities
  • Establish targets/budget figures for key accounts and continuously report progress on an account level
 
Preferred Qualifications
 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Strong understanding of selling a custom-made product
  • Proven track record of growing business in a certain region or for a certain product/division
  • Strong focus on the North American interconnection market
  • Language skills: Native in English; French and/or German is considered an asset
  • Comprehensive trainings on sales techniques (Miller Heiman, Karrass, Value Selling, etc.,) would be an asset
