Shipping and Receiving Supervisor

In this role, you will provide direction, coaching, and technical expertise to all shipping and receiving department employees. You will also actively engage with your team to ensure the safe loading and unloading of trailers/trucks, as well as general labor in the warehouse and production floor in order to help ensure both raw material and finished goods inventory integrity.
 
Additionally, you will:

• direct the daily activities of the warehouse
• review the daily shipping schedule to plan and prioritize working activities
• review daily inventory of goods in the warehouse against anticipated delivery schedules

 
Desired Skills and Experience
 

• 1-3 years of manufacturing or warehouse management/supervisory experience (preferably in shipping, receiving, and material processing
• Forklift experience
• Proficient computer skills, with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak effectively to both individual and large groups of employees
• Effective organizational skills with the ability to multitask in an environment with shifting priorities
• Ability to delegate work requirements to the correct individuals and provide the necessary follow-up
• High school diploma; college degree preferred, but not required
